It is the shopping mecca for women of all statures, whether it is a student of Delhi University surviving on a fixed monthly allowance or a South Delhi lady with no holds barred budget. This place serves all with equality.One can easily find labels like Zara , New Look and even Calvin Klein here , at prices that don’t exceed 500 INR.

It seems like every year in winter, entire Delhi dons plaid, or tartan ; mostly shirts and jackets rule the roost  . People often argue about the intricate differences between tartan and plaid , and how sometimes this difference should be left to the understanding of the Scottish, who are well, credited with its invention.Tartan is basically a woven cloth which is identified with different clans of highland society of Scotland. Tartan is often called plaid in North America, and we Indians, seem to follow suit.

I have lost count of as to how many times I have wanted to photograph somebody in the metro. Sadly, photography is prohibited in the Delhi Metro.

Five style resolutions we are making this year

We have all done it and are still “guilty” of doing it . Yes , I am talking about those new year resolutions we write down on that new year journal. Our optimistic sweet souls pen down our ambitions about joining a gym, learning a new skill- basically getting that change in our lives. This year, I’ve thought about making small and gradual changes in my life rather than trying to tackle all those resolutions at once. And if you’re anything like me , the resolve to put some style into perspective this year is equally important to cutting sugar and caffeine from my diet.
