Ruby Woe 1

I love reading; it has to be my first love. My earliest memory of reading has to be of Charlie and the chocolate factory, the Harry Potter Series and Charlotte’s Web in my mother’s closet which served more like the sanctuary of me and my toys. The one thing that I realized quiet young was how books would describe women; how her eyes sparkled when she smiled, that corner of her lips always showed a sign of distrust. And if I ever write a book, I’d make the protagonist a lover of scarlet lip.

On my recent trip to M-Block Market in GK-1, I saw a girl sporting a pink lip with a smile as happy as the color. Since it was the first time I’d to walk up to a stranger to ask what lipstick is she wearing (which I think isn’t something you do when you meet someone for the first time), I was more than scared. But I didn’t have to convince her much. The lady was happy to share her lipstick details, “I don’t remember what color it is, but wait I have the lipstick in my bag”. She pulled out the glorious lipstick from her bag in a jiffy. It was L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Matte Moist Cherry Crush. How I regret not snapping the picture of the lipstick but I think there is always a next time.
